Lola spotted this stuff the other week and we managed to find some in Wegmans. It turned out that she didn’t like it so much (all the more for me), it is actually fairly bitter but personally I think Saranac White IPA is absolutely wonderful stuff. Hopefully I’ll get to the Brewery a bit later this year.
If there ever was a day to eat the stickiest sticky buns in the entire universe it was today. Naturally it didn’t help that when Steve brought these in from Mr Sticky’s – yes it’s really called that, I’d just finished making an apple and rhubarb crumble.
What could I do apart from try both? Today I start my own 600 pound life.
Caught these two characters in Clark’s Summit as we wandered round the Ice Festival whose theme this year was the London 2012 Olympics. Most of the ice sculptures were a bit drippy as it’s still unseasonably warm here and they’d been around for a few days but they were good nonetheless.
The other year I had the privilege of photographing the Reform Club in London. You might have seen it in countless movies including a couple of Bond movies and it’s the place that Phileas Fogg fictionally set off on his 80 days around the world. Somehow I lost all the photos up until now and thought I’d give them the HDR treatment.
Starting to get to grips with some HDR versions of some old photos. I found this one from our holiday in Andalusia, Spain last August. Not sure how I missed it first time round. It was so quiet where we stayed, we actually heard a leaf blow down the street. Ah Spain, your food was crap but your vistas were lovely.
